Welcome to Ashburton Birthcare Midwives
Ashburton Birthcare Midwives work collaboratively to provide the best possible care for you and your family, passionately providing pregnancy, labour and birth care for local women choosing to birth at home or at the Ashburton Maternity Centre.
We are also the only local midwives to provide care through to Christchurch Womens’ hospital for women whose risks may increase and who are then required to birth at a secondary/tertiary hospital as in the referral guidelines (examples are inductions of labour, women who have had previous c sections, women expecting twins).
